TheLobstars, a 7,777 collection, NFT project by British Contemporary Artist, Philip Colbert. Philip, often referred to as ‘the godson of Andy Warhol’. He and his Lobster character are world renowned and have exhibited in galleries across the globe including Times Art Museum (Chongqing; 2021), Sejong Art Centra (Seoul;2021), Modern Art Museum (Shanghai;2020), Saatchi Gallery (London;2020), and Multimedia Art Museum (Moscow;2020). Colbert has also collaborated with luxury brands such as Bentley Motors, Rolex, MontBlanc, Christian Louboutin, COMME des GARÇONS, and Adidas. His work generates millions of pounds worth of revenue in retail and auction sales, every year. In 2021, Philip’s first NFT (the Ctyptofixtion) was sold via SuperRare for 25 Ethereum. The pre sale exhibition was held in Lobsteropolis, the Lobster based world build by Colbert himself in Decentraland. Lobsteropolis is the largest, art based, space in the Decentraland Metaverse and presents TheLobstars collection with a huge opportunity for Web3 growth and Philip’s Physical and Digital work coming together. Once in Lobsteropolis, you can visit the gallery, dance at the music stage, have meetings at town hall, earn Lobster coins at the casino and visit the Lobster Robotics centre. In February 2022, Philip also collaborated with the RobotosNFT founder Pablo Stanley, to launch a 100 piece collection of 3D rendered ROBOLOBSTERS. The collection sold out quickly, and holders have verified Robolobster Roles in both TheLobstars and Robots communities. Holders also received 2 mint spaces for The Lobsters project and are now entered into weekly raffles for Philip Colbert Artwork and Merchandise. Each Lobster token will come complete with a passport ID for Lobsteropolis, and then follow the roadmap with Philip as he continues to build upon Lobsteropolis in Decentraland, develop Lobster Robotics, collaborate with other incredible brands and NFT projects, and activate his beautiful Lobster artwork in more physical and digital spaces.
